Citrine

Citrine derives its name from the French “citron,” meaning lemon - although in truth it can range in color from a juicy lemon yellow to the rich warm colors of a late autumn glow.

Citrine was worn in ancient times as an amulet protecting the wearer from a snake’s venom and from evil thoughts. As the most valuable of the large quartz family it offers gemstone lovers almost everything the heart desires.
