Spinel

Spinel are among the most beautiful of all gemstones. Although commonly thought of as red, Spinel are available in a wide range of gorgeous colors from autumn oranges to cobalt blue plus every color in between. 

Many of history’s most famous royal rubies are in fact Red Spinel.  Because of its rarity, Spinel is not marketed to the mass jewelry industry; as such, it is an ideal gemstone for custom jewelry designers and smaller design houses.
